The Town of Apple Valley is accepting applications for the part-time position shared with the Big Plains
Water Special Service District through an interlocal agreement to perform the following tasks:
Water Operator ۰Equipment Operator ۰ Mechanic ۰Public Works Laborer۰Road Laborer۰Parks Laborer
Assist with operations and any duties that present themselves from day-to-day operations and needs of groundskeeping, building and equipment maintenance, roads, drainage, plumbing and the water department.

Hourly Rate Starting at $22 - Commensurate with Experience
Status: Part time up to 29 hours per week
Room for future possible advancement to a full time position with full benefits and possibly a certified water operator position.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:
•    Water System Maintenance
•    Water Sampling
•    Meter Reading
•    Installation and/or Inspection of Installation of Meters and System Infrastructure
•    Mowing Lawns
•    Building Maintenance
•    Equipment Maintenance
•    Road Repairs
•    Plumbing
•    Working with the Water District

Experience in all areas is a plus. Management reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Overtime and weekend work may be necessary due to emergencies that may arise.
